  1. Gently simmer water, milk & your preferred spices on lowest heat, uncovered, for 10 minutes, or until 75% of original liquid remains.
  2. Remember, if you have Pitta, high heat or inflammatory conditions, favor cardamom, nutmeg, fennel.
  3. If you have Vata or Kapha conditions, go strong with heating spices like ginger, cinnamon, clove & black pepper.

  • 1/4 c water
  • 1/4 c whole organic milk
  • cardamom
  • ginger
  • cinnamon
  • clove
  • nutmeg
  • black pepper
  • (fennel)
